Heitor José Miranda de Almeida has been one of my most distinguished students, demonstrating an above the mean interest, in many fields of scientific knowledge.Along the more than two years I had the pleasure to tech him at the Computer Engineering Department of Universidade Santa Ursula, he has demonstrated a highly accurate balance of mathematical and computational intuition, placing him among those fewly gifted students who has ample potential to develop a successful career, in any of the knowledge branches he might chose to take for in his professional life, specially on a future Master or PhD program.
He has demonstrated a very bright and captivating interest in many aspects of scientific computing, with strong emphasis on theoretical computer science and applied mathematical computation.
Heitor José Miranda de Almeida has received an A+ on all classes which I had the pleasure to teach him, including Analysis of Algorithms, Data Structures and Operations Research.
He has also demonstrated an above the mean ability in Computer Language Programming, with solid knowledge of Assembler, C++, FORTRAN, Java, C#, PERL and PHP in Unix and Windows environments.
